Well Close Square Surgery Practice premises

The practice was purpose-built in the late 1980's to replace an adapted business premises which had been extended several times. During reconstruction , the practice occupied the old temporary maternity unit, which had previously been an elderly long stay care ward and before that the Berwick workhouse. The practice was architect designed to be easy to maintain and yet provide a fairly "homely" atmosphere.
